The Alberta Recruitment Zone

The National Job Fair & Training Expo, Canada’s largest recruitment event, joined forces with Alberta-based organizations and economic development corporations in a collaborative effort to promote Alberta’s job market and to generate attention on Alberta’s alternative working and living opportunities. Expected participating organizations are from various cities across the province, such as Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Fort McMurray, Lloydminster, High River, Taber, Athabaska, Slave Lake, Sherwood Park, Camrose and Lacombe.

After a highly successful experience in the fall 2007 edition and spring 2008 edition of The National Job Fair & Training Expo, the Alberta Recruitment Zone will be featured for the third time at our 13th edition in Toronto, scheduled for September 30 and October 1 , 2008, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The Alberta Recruitment Zone has been developed exclusively to promote in the Greater Toronto Area the large number of job and career opportunities available across the province of Alberta. There will be hundreds of job and career opportunities and information about working in, relocating to and living in Alberta. Exhibit to get the best out of it!

Economic Development - City of Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie is located in the heart of some of richest economies in the world – energy, forestry, agriculture, education, research, manufacturing & construction, 456 kilometers northwest of Alberta’s capital, it is the metropolitan service centre for the resource-rich Peace Country Region.
