The on-site interview

Interview formats

One-on-one interview

The most common form of interview at The National Job Fair & Training Expo is the one-on-one interview. Don't forget to use positive body language, be attentive and maintain eye contact.

After The National Job Fair & Training Expo, you can expect further interviews in various forms, such as:

Phone

You will find information easier if you organize your notes around you. Even over the phone, body language can help you—your interviewer will feel the smile on your face and in your voice.

Panel (several interviewers)

When a person asks a question, make sure to direct your answer to this person. Keeping eye contact with other interviewers is a good approach.

Multiple (more than one interview)

Multiple interviews are quite a long process. Each interviewer usually wants to discuss different aspects of your background or get to know more about a specific qualification you may have for the job.

Video-conference

Treat it like any interview. Practicing in front of a video camera might help.
