The National Job Fair & Training Expo is a public event presented with an exclusive and protected concept under Canada’s corporation and copyright laws. Other job/career fairs and their representatives are advised that any copying, in whole or in part, of names, logos, event concept, event activities, image branding, information, documentation, material and design is strictly prohibited. Immediate legal action will be undertaken against any recruitment events and/or their representatives who violate—or attempt to violate—The National Job Fair & Training Expo ownership and property rights. Other job/career fair representatives are not admitted to the fair. Any soliciting of exhibitors, sponsors, partners and/or visitors at the fair by such organizations is legally prohibited. Failure to comply may lead to prosecution under the Trespass Act of Ontario.

Before the interview, review your competencies, attributes and accomplishments.
Allow the interviewer to set the tone.
Be prompt.
Don't give more details than you are asked for.
Be concise. Describe your accomplishments and tell how they fit with the position.
Be strategic. Make sure all your answers meet the employer's needs for the position.
Answer questions thoughtfully and in a warm, conversational manner.
Leave room for spontaneity and creativity.
Do not hesitate to ask for clarification if you don't understand a question.
Ask your own questions.
Ask for feedback.
Prepare your follow-up. Ask what the next steps are.
Take the name and phone number of the interviewer before leaving for your follow up.
Shake hands and thank the interviewer for his/her time.
Confirm your interest in the position before leaving, if you find it appropriate.
